Answer Guidance
You may see the following words within the questions, below is a short explanation of what your tutor and the awarding body expect you to do for each.
Identify is usually a short list, mix and match, multiple choice or tick box answer.
Brief but full sentences providing a general description or essential features (a full sentence is one that contains some of the question detail). Usually two or three sentences in length is enough to answer an Outline question.
Describe means a detailed description in the form of a short paragraph, which usually is three to five sentences in length. A list or one word answers will not be marked as correct, describe questions must be answered in full sentences in a short paragraph.
A full sentence clearly defining a piece of information.
A detailed full explanation/description making reference to information and research you have discovered in a few paragraphs. You may include quotes and where you have found your information but remember you cannot use AI or chat services to find the answers to your questions.
