When carrying out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), it’s essential to maintain accurate and comprehensive records to demonstrate compliance with health and safety regulations

• Records can be kept digitally or on paper
• There is no legal requirement to keep records, but doing so is considered best practice and helps   demonstrate due diligence under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
